Decal Jars - February 2013

PRETTY FLOURS & SUGAR - FEBRUARY 2013

I've been saving Dowe Egbert jars for some time now (thankfully my folks have been saving them for me too), so having seen the tutorial on The Painted Hive - I thought I'd use the technique on my jars. 

I decided to take it to the next level by totally copying their design (I figure I'm not selling them so it's ok?) and creating a few more. So there are a bunch more than the ones she kindly offers for free including:

• Granulated sugar
• Light soft brown sugar
• Brown granulated
• Splenda Granulated
• Buckwheat flour
• Gluten free (self raising and plain
• Rice Flour
• Cornflour
• Dessicated coconut
• Marshmallow (I need to drink some more coffee before I can do this one though!)

If anyone wants the original template then email me and I'll be happy to share (I just don't know how to upload documents to this blog!). 

I've not put the instructions on here as The Painted Hive ones are great, or if you buy decal paper (I got mine from Crafty Computer Paper) the instructions are really clear.

I'm looking forward to getting my dresser in the kitchen next year so I can show them off properly and get them off the counter top (they might be pretty but in my mind they are still cluttering up the place!
